Shijiazhuang University
Shijiazhuang University is located in Shijiazhuang City, the capital of Hebei Province. It is 280 kms to the south of Beijing, the capital of China. It has both a good geographical location and a favorable economic environment. Set up in 1956, the University in a comprehensive institution of higher learning with seven branches—literature, law, science, polytechnic, economics, pedagogies and management.
There are 15 departments in the University: Law and Politics, Literature and Media, English, History, Pedagogies, Musicology, Arts, Physical Education, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Resources and Environment, Computer Science and Adult Education. There are 44 undergraduate and three-year University majors with a full-time student body of 10256.
The teaching and research staff of Shijiazhuang University is not only large in number, but also high in their teaching and research level. It has a staff of 780 with 480 full-time teachers. There are 160 professors and associate professors. There are also 30 part-time professors and five foreign experts. Among the teaching body, 13 have doctorates and 193 have master’s degrees.
